Today it is sunny outside, but slow inside The Full Circle.  This whole weekend has been a less-than-stellar sales run at the store.  Which brings me to my second point: I SHOULD HAVE WENT TO CHICAGO to see my friends.  Damn.  I couldn’t find anyone to cover my shift here and I didn’t want to shutter the store on a Saturday night.

Ugh.

This is the ugly side of owning your own business…sometimes you have to sacrifice a great wkend for the sake of 15 sales.  Blah.  Oh…and ugh.  Again.

I hope that whomever is reading this is having a great weekend.  It kinda feels like Spring doesn’t it?

Happy Birthday to my friend Roman.

Today has been one of the more lazy days so far…and that is saying quite a bit considering I didn’t really even leave the couch yesterday (it was great!).  We posted a couple of ads on CraigsList looking for used LPs…and we’ve gotten an overwhelming response.  Cool.

Lame post, I know…but I’m trying to post every day.  Many a blog has been abandoned by me…this one is gonna stick around for awhile.

We are having a random drawing for a couple of tickets to the Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco) concert at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo on 1/29.  Come to the store and fill out an entry blank.  Winner(s) will be drawn on Tuesday, 1/27.

It is Saturday night and people are shuffling by…not stopping in, mind you, but shuffling by in the snow.  I’ve got Slowride’s “Building a building” playing on the stereo.  It is an underrated album that I was totally unaware of until last night (thanks Roman), but now can’t seem to stop playing.

I’ve also been checking the new J. Tillman album, “Vacilando Territory Blues”, and think that it is going to be a sleeper indie hit.  He is the drummer/vocalist for the Fleet Foxes.  Very chill.  Very cool, thought-provoking lyrics.  I realize that I used the adjectives “chill” and “cool” back-to-back…but you know what I mean.

I’ve got an hour and a half to go before the doors close for the weekend.  I better get going and find some work to do…
